My wife and I just got back from Colorado where we walked up Pike's Peak; 13 miles! What a workout!

I am 57 and walk every day of the year for health reasons. I was never an athlete. I walk about 2 miles per day; sometimes 3 and just logged my 500th mile last week. My doctor tells me not to run due to joint stress but the other day I trotted the last mile to get home during the rain and had plenty of endurance.

I walk/jog and cycle. The "ride your bike to work" program this summer was great! I rode 13 times with my co-workers on average of 20/30 miles round trip per work day. it was benificial for all the right reasons. Thanks for your support, it is a new beginning for the good health of Tulsa. B Cox

Grissom Elementary 100 Mile Club just topped 7,000 miles for the 2009-2010 school year. Way to go !!!!
